Who is Nikita Nichelle?
Nikita Nichelle offers the perfect trio: A Smooth Voice with Real Lyrics over Captivating Beats! She is a Chicago-native soul singer and songwriter inspired by the consciousness of Lauryn Hill and India Arie and the melodic genius of Lalah Hathaway, Jill Scott and Anita Baker. She has been featured with incredible bands, such as Kinetic Theory, Frankie Parker & The Gentlemen, Ric Rhoadz & Genre Free, and Class Act Entertainment at venues like Redwood Luxe, Dream Palace Banquet Hall, Refuge Live, and Red Star to name a few. Her captivating vocals, playful precision and creative energy will keep you wanting to hear more.
Her passion for music was discovered at the tender age of 2 when she recorded her first “cover song”, One Hundred Ways (Quincy Jones & James Ingram), with her father accompanying on acoustic guitar. Nikita Nichelle got her singing chops in the church, which is where she learned the art of connecting to the hearts and souls of her listeners. She honed her craft by studying music from high school through college. She sharpened her edge by obtaining a law degree and becoming licensed to practice law.
Nikita Nichelle debuted her first single, Warriors, which has aired on WSRB 106.3 FM and is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and CD Baby.
Nikita Nichelle is something like a line from the movie “Brown Sugar”: she is “the perfect voice over a tight beat”!
